Plight of Tamil civilians after the poll results?

The LTTE and Sri Lankan government have prolonged the bloodbath of the Tamil civilians. One could observe the sharp compassion that had been wielding from every corner of the Tamil Nadu, irrespective of whether mega parties or a fringe party, praising to the skies the Tamil cause, until the 15th Lok Sabha election ending on 13 May 2009.

The Amnesty International also has similar feeling “that the bad situation could get worse after the conclusion of the May 13 elections in India (the neighboring south Indian state of Tamil Nadu goes to the polls on Wednesday in the final round of India’s Parliamentary elections)”

Sam Zarifi, the director, Amnesty International, Asia Pacific, has said,” There are real fears that the ‘bloodbath’ will turn into a flood of misery after 13 May. The Security Council must act on its responsibility to protect the civilians in Sri Lanka before hundreds more are killed and wounded by the two sides or succumb to malnutrition and disease”

Bharathiraja one of the renowned directors had planned to protest against the Congress leaders for disregarding the Tamil civilians being killed in Lanka. He said that he would wage a political war against the high profile Congress contestants like P.Chidambaram and Mani Shankar Iyer.

His explanation was true to every ones heart because he felt the plight of the Tamil Civilians was in great fix and there is prolonged inhumane death in large records so far we have seen. Foreign Secretary Shiv Shankar Menon has visited Colombo twice. There were continuous exchange of dialogues from External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa and asked him to protect the Tamil civilians.

The climax was so apparent for the love of Tamils genocide, that the Chief Minister Karunanidhi on Monday 27 April 2009 avowed that he would fast unto his death.

“Despite the LTTE (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam) calling for a ceasefire, the Sri Lankan government has done nothing. Rajapakse (Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapakse) has killed so many Tamils. Let him consider me also. I am fasting for Sri Lankan Tamil cause,” said Karunandhi.

The entire world is keen to observe whether the ethnic blood relation of the Tamil Nadu (through its instructions to the Center) is really save the several hundred children and women being rendered as impoverished or who are nearing gallows of malnutrion, thirsty and terror of the LTTE, after poll results.

There is correction as under, please bear with me :
The climax was so apparent for the love of Tamils, that the entire Tamil Nadu leadership was against genocide, that the Chief Minister Karunanidhi,on May 27
April 2009 avowed that he would fast unto his death.

The crux article is, that this fervour and zeal of salvaging the Tamil war hit civilians whether only a pre-poll drama as many are given to understand or genuine ethnic affection? Time will anwer it.

It was merely a pre poll drama by the political parties. What a drama it was? Karunanidhi on fast until death and rime Minister going to meet him. Was it a seen of a Hindi movie?

Vinit,
There is Thumping majority to UPA.
In South there is great debacle for Ramadoss of PMK. For Advani the oft repeated agenda was Ram Janma Bhoomi, and
erection of Ram Temple. All Hindu Brethren have realised that it all slogans.

For Leftists, fourth front crying subject will be Tamil civilians in Lanka. Even Advani will shout about this
ethnic affinity in parliament. But he has lost a seat as a leader of opposition too.

It was the failure of Indian diplomacy that we could not force the Sri Lankan government to halt the atrocities on Tamils.

It wasn’t the failure, it was the astuteness of Indian Diplomacy. The LTTE needed to be wiped right off the face of this earth and India allowed Sri Lanka do the dirty work..good riddance to bad rubbish.

Nothing will change! UPA will again come to power and things will be the same as they were in the past years.

Ayushi,
All the parties who sit against UPA in parliament will not allow it to function as we have been seeing it live telecast and other media. Do remember that once the former speaker Somnath Chatterjee regetted how these parliamentarian lost the sense shame!
